Well, to be blunt, I am probably one of the nerdiest people you'll ever meet. Don't be jealous of my awesomeness~ ;D Simple as that.

Advice Poster

Well~ Finished another assignment: the final of the advice poster :]

I had been wanting to Photoshop to really polish a picture for a LONGGG time now. I had tried once, but it didn't turn out well (to be honest, my drawing sucked in the first place so it was already an epic fail). Now that I am better at drawing, I wanted to try again and see how it would go, and TA DA~ This is what I got. Though it isn't the best that's ever been completed in the history, it was pretty good considering it was a first real attempt ( > U<)b

So, this drawing was really FFXIII inspired; mainly it being inspired from the character Lightning. I have always liked the advice of "sucking it up and dealing with it" and "walking with confidence, even when it's rough." I've really learned these lesson from running in cross country, as cheesy as it sounds. Cross Country really taught (and still teaches me) to keep going even when it's rough. I mean, that's the essence of distance running, really.

Anywho, back to the drawing. As previously said, this drawing was inspired by Lightning from FF13. When I thought about confidence, I thought of her immediately. I love her outfit, her personality; I essentially just love her (not in that weird creepy way, more like awe for her)... even though I haven't played the game yet. :'pp But I've definitely researched the game and such~
I also love her hair style. I think it's so cool and... simply awesome. If I could pull it off, I would totally get that hair style.

And it took about 9-10 hours to outline, color, and shade the image on Photoshop. I just outlined the picture on paper and cleaned it up on Photoshop and went from there. Sadly, my shading isn't super obvious which kinda sucks since I spent a while working on it. But it's there!!
So, I gave my girl crazy pink hair, cool side belt accessory, and other little details that referred back to FF13 and even KH. How cool is that?

I am really happy about how it came out. I had a previous idea that was ok, and I just kept building from there and this is what I got. I really like the final results. :]

The Woes of Thine-self~

It's been a while since I've posted anything... So, I'll just post a kinda random but somewhat meaningful post~
So, in regards to AP Art, I've started working on some of the assignments. I finished my three advice poster drawings and all that's left is for me to edit some of them and to finish one (or two since I really like two of my drawings) on Adobe. I'll probably use Photoshop (it's been a while my good friend! :D) since I've always wanted to color and shade using the program. I'll see how it goes, though. Found a fabulous tutorial on coloring and shading on Photoshop on my manga app on my phone which was convenient. I'll post my progress here later on.
In regards to random, I've been on a serious online shopping spree these past weeks. I've mainly just been looking at clothes, games, and stuff online and not actually buying them, but I have gotten so far a new book, new power supply replacement, and three new games (one of the games was COVERED in scratches, which pissed me off to no end, so I had to order a factory sealed version of the game).
But now I have my eyes on a bigger prize: a PS3 with backward compatability (which I've kinda been dying to have for for a while)~
Since my PS2 (well, technically it's my older brother Brandon's, but I guess it's mine now since I'm the only one who plays video games in my house) is covered in dust and is easily 11 or 12 years old, I have a serious fear of it dying sometime soon. I have had some hicups with it, some small problems but nothing too crazy. Plus, I REALLY REALLY want to play some of the new PS3 games (mainly FF13 and KH3 if it EVER COMES OUT!!!! D:<). The Motion games are pretty cool too, but definitely not as cool as FF13 and, soon to be, KH3~
Now the question is SHOULD I get one and, if I do get one, WHERE.
Ahh!! So many choices, it's overwhelming~ x Qx

Fabulous Hoodies by Holly Hue

Ok, so this has nothing to do with AP Art or anything, but it somewhat relates to art. :'P

So, I was looking on one of my favorite websites, I Heart Guts (I definitely recommend looking on this website. They have some awesome shirts and plushes. I mean, who wouldn't want some random organ on their shirt?? Honestly~), and was looking and their clothes for the millionth time and looked at their really cool hoodies for the millionth time and clicked on the link to the designer's page. The designer is Holly Hue, of which I don't know if she's well known or simply a designer in the rise, but I looked at her hoodies and LOVED THEM!!!! They're quite unique and the designs are kinda crazy, but not a bad crazy. I wanted to order one but I have no idea on the sizes so I sent them an email. Hopefully they'll reply soon because I love them~ > U<
I really love designers who aren't afraid of colors and shapes; the designers who are willing to push to the extremes. I truly admire their courage and their designs. That's probably why I love these jackets, because they're so different from a jacket you'd find at say American Apparel or something.

Even though one could say I have plenty of jackets... but these are special, so I think a special exception is in order~ :'D
The only downside of them is that they're spendy and I have no idea how their quality of fabric is.

Here are some of the jackets she has to offer, and these aren't even my top favorites!:

Onesie #3

Whoo~ Another design finished~
This one didn't take very long at all, compared to the other designs. I think this one was easier since I had a clear idea as to how I wanted to be.

Well, this onesie is for the Big Apple. I used photos from the Adobe resources since no one in my family has any pictures of New York (my dad traveled there for business, but didn't take any pictures. How lame~).
The reason why I typed Mr. Taxi rather than just taxi is because this entire line and design was inspired by the song "MR.TAXI" by Girls Generation. Besides, Mr. Taxi for a onesies sounds better than just taxi. That just sounds so.... obvious o____o"

And.... that's about it regarding the design. Comments and opinions are fabulous. :]

England Pictures

Here were some of the pictures I was prevously taking about. I hope that I can use them for another design or something~

And even though I used this one in my design, I really liked the colors and brightness of this photo (I edited it a smidge)

Onesie #2

Yay~ I finished my second onesie design~ :D
This one is suppose to be for London, UK.

In the previous design, I wanted people to focus more on the writing and text rather than the photo. This design focuses more on the photos and the background graphic. There is a little bit of text, but only to state the obvious. I felt as though some text was needed, but not crazy enough to pull away from the graphics and yet big enough for people to notice.

Regarding the photos, they were actually photos my parents took when they were in England, specifically London for the photos in the design. They went there when I was, like 6 or so, so I didn't remember any of the photos they took (lets be honest, all I cared about when they returned were the cool toys and souverneirs :'D). I fell in love with a lot of the photos they took, but didn't use them because I wanted to use the iconic photos for the design. I'll post some of my favorite photos here after a while~ ;]

After thinking about it, my family has kinda traveled a bit around the world... My mom and dad went to England, my sister went to Italy, France, and England, my dad traveled to Japan for business as well as to various states here in the US for business...

Old Artwork

So, I was just thinking about my old drawings and I just wanted to post some favorites. I'll probably do this every now and then... :'P

These drawings are the most recent ones that I drew. Took about three and a half hours to draw them and coloring isn't how I wanted to be, but they turn out nice. :]
Although, there are some small details that bug me, but I'll keep them to myself~ - U-

This picture is my favorite of the two~

I like posting. It makes me feel special~ - U-
Anywho~ I edited my design and finished it! It was driving me crazy for so long since I didn't have any clear idea as to what I wanted for it, but I fixed it this morning and I like it SO much better than the previously posted design :]
Regarding the sakura picture, I actually took that years ago. We have some cherry trees in our backyard and I really love them in their full bloom. I decided to make a card for my mom on Mother's Day one year and I went in our backyard and kept taking pictures of our trees. This photo really stuck out to me when I took it because I feel that it really did a nice job showing the beauty and elegance of cherry blossoms.
I had forgotten about this photo and when I was looking for cherry blossom pictures, I remembered it and used it. It was a nice plus since I took it so there was no worries about copyright or anything! (> U<)b
Dang, I hope this baby is happy with this onesie. Darn labor intensive kids.

Dang it

Dang it. Had a realization that I had screwed up. D:
There goes two days for nothing~ ( T ^T)

Design 1

I was weird and began working on the onesies. I hope that's ok. But, what's done is done. :]
Well, I finished one of the designs last night at 1:30 in the morning~
Sadly I feel that it's not... polished. I dunno. I've been working on a second version of this design but the more I work on it, the more I wonder if it's actually better to leave it this way...
The theme for this line is "World Cities/Countries"
