It's been a while since I've posted anything... So, I'll just post a kinda random but somewhat meaningful post~
So, in regards to AP Art, I've started working on some of the assignments. I finished my three advice poster drawings and all that's left is for me to edit some of them and to finish one (or two since I really like two of my drawings) on Adobe. I'll probably use Photoshop (it's been a while my good friend! :D) since I've always wanted to color and shade using the program. I'll see how it goes, though. Found a fabulous tutorial on coloring and shading on Photoshop on my manga app on my phone which was convenient. I'll post my progress here later on.
In regards to random, I've been on a serious online shopping spree these past weeks. I've mainly just been looking at clothes, games, and stuff online and not actually buying them, but I have gotten so far a new book, new power supply replacement, and three new games (one of the games was COVERED in scratches, which pissed me off to no end, so I had to order a factory sealed version of the game).
But now I have my eyes on a bigger prize: a PS3 with backward compatability (which I've kinda been dying to have for for a while)~
Since my PS2 (well, technically it's my older brother Brandon's, but I guess it's mine now since I'm the only one who plays video games in my house) is covered in dust and is easily 11 or 12 years old, I have a serious fear of it dying sometime soon. I have had some hicups with it, some small problems but nothing too crazy. Plus, I REALLY REALLY want to play some of the new PS3 games (mainly FF13 and KH3 if it EVER COMES OUT!!!! D:<). The Motion games are pretty cool too, but definitely not as cool as FF13 and, soon to be, KH3~
Now the question is SHOULD I get one and, if I do get one, WHERE.
Ahh!! So many choices, it's overwhelming~ x Qx
I honestly do not know if a PS3 is worth it... I know that some people LOVE it and are OBSESSED, but really... there are only a couple of games that are PS3 exclusive (the rest you can get for some other system that is most likely cheaper than a PS3), and are those games really worth it for an over-priced system?
ReplyDeleteBut, it is a preference thing. Again, I know people who LOVE having a PS3. I just think it is over-priced and if you're going to spend that much money on a system, an x-Box 360 is more worth its money. I know, different style of gaming, I was just comparing the two ridiculously priced systems.
I am sure whatever you decide will be fine (hey, you will could be one of those people who LOVE the PS3). This is just my personal preference.
Is Kingdom Hearts 3 really only coming out for PS3??
Also, I've been typing with all the music going on, nice song choices!
Thanks! Yeah, I prefer PS's over 360's just because I'm used to it's controls and such. My brother used to have a 360 and the controls were super confusing to me. Plus, he had to keep sending it in for repairs because it kept getting, as he called it, the red ring of death.

And I havea pretty good feeling that KH3 will come out on the PS3 since 1 and 2 came out on the PS2 so it would make sense if they made it for the PS2 again, but since they're out and not as popular they'll go for the PS3. That is, IF THEY EVER GET AROUND TO MAKING IT!!! D:<
Thanks~ I really like soundtrack music, especially from the FF and KH series. The Chrono Cross theme song is also one of my favorites. :]

ReplyDeleteWho knows, maybe they'll release Kingdom Hearts 3 for the PSP-which is worth its price over a PS3 for sure.
Unlike most people, I like all types of games (I'm not a "OOH NINTENDO" or "OOH 360 SHOOTER GAMES" person). I really prefer the 360 over PS3 (PS2 did rock though). It really just depends on what type of gamer you are though... If you are definitely a "Nintendo" "Square Enix" gamer and your PS2 is on the edge of dying, I say go for the PS3.

If you are in the middle as far as what type of games you like and wanna save a bit of money, 360 is a good way to go (yeah, your bro may have had the "Red Ring of Death" but was he treating his x-Box right? They are kind of fragile and shouldn't be moved a lot). The controls, you get used to, and there are a plethora of awesome games (I can even think of some fun, goofy games too, if you are more into that).
That's pretty much all I have to say as far as gaming systems for now. xD
When are we going to see some art?
Oh, I also appreciate that your music is instrumental. It's not a distraction and is soothing. I can focus on what I am typing and not have lyrics running through my head as I type.
